Advancing Digital Health: Insights from SIGNO & iNNOVSensing

THE INDIVIDUAL PERSPECTIVE OF PAIN BASED ON VALUES

Objectives:

To demonstrate how an application based on conversational AI can extract certain values and, with these, allow the configuration of a mapping for an individual perspective on some human aspect. In this case, it will be the aspect of human pain. And, thus, we seek to find ways to perceive, qualitatively, the individual aspects of pain, as forms of therapeutic optimization and personalization.

Tool:

AI Agent that I developed and presented at the Seminar on the Philosophy of Pain, in Malaga/Spain. I will give a brief explanation of the modus operandi, through the step-by-step process that it is constituted, in a didactic manner. Demonstration fully accessible to laymen in Philosophy and Digital Technologies.

Abstract:

Based on the dimensions of pain widely adopted by the IASP (International Association for the Study of Pain), which include: the sensory-discriminative dimension (intensity, location, quality and duration), the affective-emotional dimension (rejection and psychological reactions associated with the sensory experience) and the cognitive-evaluative dimension (evaluation of pain from a moral perspective, religious in this case, that is, cultural in a broader sense), I will seek to explore the feasibility of an application that acts as a mediator in anamnesis processes, taking into account considerations on ethics, effectiveness and limitations.
